Today, June 17, 2025, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has published the SSC GD Constable Result 2025 on the official website ssc.gov.in. The result has been announced for 53,690 vacancies in various forces including CAPFs, SSF and Assam Rifles.


Now, candidates can download the SSC GD merit list 2025 PDF which contains the names, roll numbers, and ranks of those qualified for the next stage i.e. Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST). With the result also published the state-wise SSC GD cut-off marks.


The result has been published based upon the final answer key, normalized score and category-wise cut-off marks. The SSC GD cut-off 2025 pdf provides state and Union Territory-wise details for all posts against which vacancies were advertised.

The Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST) are key parts of the SSC GD selection process. Preparing well can really make a difference. Here’s how to get ready

Physical Efficiency Test (PET) 

This test measures your stamina and speed through a running challenge:

– For Male Candidates (except Ladakh region): 5 km in 24 minutes 
– For Female Candidates (except Ladakh): 1.6 km in 8.5 minutes 
– Ladakh Region: Males run 1.6 km in 7 minutes; females run 800 meters in 5 minutes

How to prepare: 

Start daily running practice and gradually increase your distance and pace. 
– Use interval training to build endurance. 
– Practice on different surfaces to mimic real test conditions.

Physical Standard Test (PST) 
This test checks your physical measurements:

– Height: Minimum 170 cm for males, 157 cm for females (varies by category) 
– Chest (for males): 80 cm unexpanded, with 5 cm expansion 
– Weight: Proportional to height and age

How to prepare: 
– Focus on strength training with bodyweight exercises like push-ups, squats, and planks. 
– Maintain a healthy diet to stay within the required weight range. 
– Work on your posture and flexibility with yoga or stretching routines.
